Super Street Fighter IV Set for Arcades

Capcom has been noncommittal about an arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV since the updated fighter was first announced for PS3 and Xbox 360. This weekend, the company at long last delivered the news arcade goers have been awaiting: Super is coming to arcades.
 
The announcement came at the Japanese Street Fighter IV national tournament, which was held in Tokyo on Saturday. Series producer Yoshinori Ono took the stage at the end of the event and delivered the news. As this was an arcade tournament, it shouldn't come as a too much of surprise to learn that attendees burst into thunderous applause.
 
Ono did not share specifics on the arcade version. We'll have to wait for details on how Capcom will be handling the port, and when arcade goers can look forward to a release.
 
Of course, those who must have the latest in Street Fighter as soon as possible will find Super Street Fighter IV's PS3 and Xbox 360 versions at retail later this month.
