Heavy Rain Sales Top One Million Worldwide

Heavy Rain is a commercial success.
 
In a recent interview with German gaming website Play3.de (translated by IGN), Quantic Dream founder David Cage said sales of the experimental PlayStation 3 title have reached one million units sold.
 
"We sold more than a million copies of Heavy Rain worldwide," Cage said. "That was a surprise for many – some expected more like 200,000 to 300,000 sold units. We're counting on selling 1.5 million units by the end of the year and are very happy with the result."
 
First-month U.S. sales for Heavy Rain reached 219,300 units sold in February.
