No Kinect for Fable III at Launch

Planned Kinect features not up to scratch, post-launch content still a possibility.
 
Peter Molyneux, a man that likes to confound at every turn, has bewildered the general gaming population once more with news that hugely-anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive Fable III will not support Kinect at launch.
 
Molyneux initially revealed the news on the Engadget Show, but the Lionhead boss and director of Microsoft Game Studios Europe, later clarified details to Joystiq, explaining that planned Kinect-based features for Fable III weren't up to scratch. However, he also didn't rule out post-launch Kinect content.
 
Since the announcement of Fable III at last year's Gamescom, Kinect support for the game has been repeatedly confirmed and denied. Molyneux, however, still remains a firm proponent of Microsoft's motion-based technology.
