Dante's Inferno Gets Co-op Multiplayer, Level Creator

Players can create trial levels and share them online.
 
The planned downloadable content for Electronic Arts' upcoming action title Dante's Inferno is said to add a co-op multiplayer mode and a level creator system.
 
Leaked videos from owners scoring a copy of the game early have surfaced on Youtube where a trailer for the upcoming DLC, Trials of St Lucia, can be viewed on the disc.
 
"At the heart of it, there's an easy to use and full-featured game editor that you can custom create trials, adding waves of enemies, including enemies from the core game as well as some enemies like the Summoner, which are exclusive to Trials of St Lucia," said Han ten Cate, senior producer at Visceral Games in the video.
 
"We also have a co-op online mode that allows two players to team up as either Dante or St Lucia."
 
Levels created can be uploaded to EA's servers to be shared with other players, and can be rated with the game's robust ranking system.
 
"Trials of St Lucia" is set for release on April 29, though no pricing was revealed. We contacted Electronic Arts for additional comments.
