Mathewson, Mackintosh rejoin Junior All Blacks
19 June 2009 03:52pmProp Jamie Mackintosh and halfback Alby Mathewson are rejoining the Junior All Blacks rugby squad in Fiji after recovering from injury.
All Blacks on last year's end of tour, the duo missed the Juniors' Pacific Nations Cup victories over Samoa and Fiji but will be in contention for the third match against Japan in Lautoka on Tuesday.
Bay of Plenty prop James McGougan returns home after covering Mackintosh's absence, though reserve halfback Sean Romans will stay on tour because Chris Smylie sustained a head knock during the 45-17 defeat of Fiji yesterday.
